Calme plat depuis une semaine, - 20°C ces derniers jours, la banquise atteint une épaisseur de 35 cm autour de Vagabond. Depuis 10 jours, Michael n'a pas vu un ours : ils ne sont plus acculés au fond de la baie d'Inglefield, et profitent d'un domaine de chasse qui s'agrandit chaque jour. Si la météo le permet, Ulli viendra de Longyearbyen vendredi prochain pour remplacer Michael.

Very quiet weather for the past week, -20°C these days, sea ice thickness is now about 35 cm around Vagabond. Since 10 days, Michael didn't see any polar bear: they are not any more pushed in Inglefield's Bay, and they can enjoy a larger hunting area every day. If the weather is fine, Ulli will come from Longyearbyen next Friday and replace Michael.
