"Papa, il y a un petit bateau de guerre dans le port !". En Islande aussi, Ecotroll attire les visiteurs. A peine avions nous accosté ce midi que les curieux se passaient le mot. Sa propulsion hybride intéresse beaucoup les pêcheurs, ainsi que son look solide et fonctionnel. Et les questions ne manquent pas sur le drôle d'engin qui trône sur le toit : le treuil du cerf-volant. Malheureusement, la mer était trop formée et le vent trop faible et irrégulier, pendant notre traversée depuis les îles Féroé, pour utiliser le cerf-volant. Afin d'avoir un vent portant, nous avions choisi de naviguer en bordure d'une grosse dépression... Ecotroll est un petit mais bon bateau dans la houle ! En arrivant en Islande, la piscine et le sauna de Seydisfjordur étaient le bon endroit pour rencontrer les habitants, en ce samedi pluvieux.

"Daddy, there is a war ship in the harbour!". In Iceland as well, Ecotroll is attracting visitors. We had just moored today that curious were already talking to each other. Fishermen are interested with hybrid engines, also with the strong and practical look. And questions are many about the strange thing on the roof: the winch for the kite. Unfortunately, waves were too big and the wind too weak and changing, during our trip from Faeroe Islands, to use the kite. In order to get back wind, we decided to sail along a big low... Ecotroll is a small but good boat in the swell! When arriving in Iceland, the swimming pool and the sauna were the good place to meet local people, on this rainy Saturday.
