Hier après-midi, Vagabond passait le cercle polaire. Voilà presque six ans qu'il était dans l'Arctique ! Il y retournera l'année prochaine, après le bon carénage prévu à Brest.
Il n'y a guère plus de neige sur les montagnes qui bordent les fjords, la température remonte au point que le chauffage peut être éteint pendant l'après-midi ! Le vent est portant, les aurores boréales veillent sur nous pendant les quarts de nuit...

Yesteday afternoon, Vagabond crossed the Polar Circle. She has been in the Arctic for almost six years! She will go back next year, after the good refit planned in Brest.
There is not much snow anymore on the mountains along the fjords, temperature is rising and the stove can be turned off during the day! Wind is pushing us and northern lights are looking after us during night watches...
